ISC NORTHEAST OVERVIEW

Urban leaders have expressed the need for “Inspire Sports Camps NorthEast” ministries more than any other resource because it give young people a hope and vision for growing up.

Inspire Sports Camps is a Christ-centered sleep-away sports camps for young people from cities all across the Northeast. The purpose of ISC is to impact and develop urban youth through culturally relevant Christian sports camps. We desire to build relationships leading to GOD encounters, new experiences, and deeper exploration of the self in all our program initiatives. Campers have the opportunity to advance their skills in individual sports.  Campers receive opportunities to put life lessons into practice on the competition field. We also introduce campers to a wide variety of activities: hiking, fishing, high adventure, canoeing, etc.  Each day, campers see and hear about Christ’s love through both large group meetings and small group interaction.

*Inspire Sports Camps NorthEast is designed to provide an affordable encounter with Christ for young people. The cost for each camper is only $95 for the entire week of camp. This price covers only a portion of the actual cost for a child to attend, but ISC raises the remaining portion of tuition costs through the generous support of donors across the country.

We carefully select and recruit staff from a pool of applicants at major universities and smaller private and/or Christian colleges. Inspire Sports Camps NorthEast trained counselors live with 8 to 12 youth in a cabin throughout the week. Counselors build personal relationships with their campers through a variety of shared experiences; high adventure activities, spending “one-on-one” time, mealtime, cabin devotionals, and group sessions that follow our evening programs.
